* First Aid kit

* Spare Fire Extinguisher

* Waterproof matches

* Fire starter

* Emergency Flares

* Sunblock

* Blanket

* Change of clothes, including spare boots and socks can be very important. Foul weather gear including Gore-Tex or waterproof equivalent outerwear and Fleece with gloves depending on season. Pack for the worst weather you can imagine.

* Mechanics Gloves

Cooler

* Bottled water, Gatorade, food, etc.

Assorted- Miscellaneous

* Tire Deflators

* OBA (Compressor or CO2)

* Toilet Paper (you should be burying your waste or packing it out)

* Paper towels

* Rags

    That’s a lot of stuff to be packing in my YJ!

  2. Ha! Yep, it’s quite a bit but when you’re overlanding and traveling for an extended period of time, you’ve got to be prepared for self-sufficiency particularly when traveling abroad where resources are limited.

    And keep in mind, this is just a general list of items needed and isn’t comprehensive of everything you should consider. Just the basics are listed. ;)
