Driving Skills: Left Foot Braking

Left-foot braking is the act of using your left foot on the brake pedal, while simultaneously using your right foot on the throttle. Ouachita Jeep Jamboree

With the camper loaded and our Wrangler (Rubi) in tow, Alan, Scout (our Labrador retriever), and I headed for Hot Springs, Arkansas and the Ouachita Jeep Jamboree. A short seven hours later, we pulled into the Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs. (more…)

The “Built For Off-Road” Adventure – Part I

At the end of the summer, my family and I headed into the mountains for a long weekend of camping and trail running, along with my heavily modified 2006 LJ Rubicon. Killington’s 4th Annual Jeep Jamboree

Access the Inaccessible. That’s what it says on the home page of Jeep Jamboree’s website. As the largest ski resort in the Northeast, Killington has access to views of five states, as well as Canada, from atop its 3,967-foot summit at Pico.
